Prices: Prices are strictly nett excluding VAT at the current rate and are subject to review.
Orders: All orders must be confirmed in writing or a signed Frazer Haywood Order Acknowledgement.
Materials: Timber is a natural material and an amount of movement in the wood must always be anticipated due to the variations in the temperature and humidity of where the wood has been stored, machined/manufacture and the final delivery point.
The wood may well be affected by any treatments or drying processes that may have been carried out. As such, reasonable tolerance of this movement is required.
Frazer Haywood Ltd will not be liable for any excessive movement or swelling as a result of extreme changes in temperature or humidity as a result of damp, exposure to direct sunlight etc. All flooring must be adequately acclimatised before it is fitted
As Wood is a natural product, it must be accepted that variations in colour and texture will occur in the products supplied or viewed or any goods previously supplied.
Any necessary weather treatment must be applied immediately upon receipt - we are not liable for any movement in the wood if it has been exposed to the elements without protection.
Availability: All items and lead-times are subject to availability at time of order and any guidance given cannot be held as a guarantee.
Delivery: All prices exclude delivery costs unless expressly stated in writing. We will quote each delivery request individually and these will always be excluding VAT.
Claims: Should there be any damaged or missing goods from your delivery, we require notification within 5 days by phone and we reserve the right to request the full details of the claim in writing and any further evidence we deem necessary for the resolution of the claim.
Liability: In the event of any faulty or damaged goods being supplied, Frazer Haywood Ltd will not be liable for any amount over and above the value of the goods deemed by us to be defective. Frazer Haywood will not be liable for any expenses resulting from poor workmanship being applied to any of our products.
Payment: Our terms are 50% with order and 50% with final delivery unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. All goods and title thereof remain the property of Frazer Haywood Ltd until full and final settlement is received.
Credit/Debit Cards: We accept Visa and MasterCard credit card payments. These are subject to a 1.5% surcharge. Debit card transactions are free of charge.
Interest: We reserve the right to charge interest on any outstanding balances after 7 days at the rate of 4% above the HSBC Bank rate at the time of final delivery.
