Ledged and boarded doors are the simplest and most popular doors we sell. However the simplicity of the construction does not come at the expense of style or quality. We are able to offer these classic doors in any combination of board size, the most popular assembly being four boards of around seven inches width (variable according to your bespoke size) with three six inch wide ledges on the rear. We will be happy to discuss your preference to any width of board, ledge and brace as required. The face of the door offers further choice of styles. We can offer a flat face to the door with no detailing, a 'v' detail between the boards or a Bead detail, a popular traditional choice. We can also offer two styles of ledge from a full chamfer to a simple bead.
